Please pray for Jalin Jones, a 16 year old who lives in Ranburne Alabama. Jalin has been a student at Steve Hurst School of Music the past two years. Her father is minister of their church. Jalin was involved in a horrible car accident last Wednesday. She was in a SUV with four other girls and they were on their way to a youth event with church. Jalin was ejected from the vehicle and from there the SUV flipped and landed on top of her. Her injuries: a broken pelvis, collarbone, and 6 ribs as well as a punctured and collapsed lung. She is in the middle of pelvic surgery now (started at 1:30). She has opened her eyes and moved a hand. Her parents are allowed four thirty minute sessions a day. She is at UAB in Birmingham (about 1 1/2 hour from Ranburne) and in room 9515. She is an avid competitive cheerleader and was told she will not cheer again. Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts daily as well as her family and friends who were in the accident and the ones who saw it happen. Wear your seatbelts and keep distractions to minimum!
Also, please remember Dave Shaffer in your prayers. He has also been in a terrible car accident. He is a good friend of ours who is part of The Shaffers. Your prayers are greatly desired! Thank you all!
